Kate is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who received her training at Columbia University in New York City. She subsequently trained as a Certified Professional Midwife in the apprenticeship model of community midwifery.
She currently practices full-scope midwifery with the Tempe Birth Center in the heart of downtown Tempe. She has attended births as a doula or midwife in home, birth center, and hospital settings since 2005. She has prescriptive authority, and the ability to order imaging, lab work, and other treatments that bring the best of modern science to your fertility care.
